Volunteer Programme
Awaken Florida believes in harnessing the power of wellness and yoga to empower and create bonds with the self and the community at large. We are looking for volunteers who would like to work closely on the festival with us. Volunteers form the backbone of any festival and we seek dedicated, diligent and passionate individuals in and around Spring Hill and Tampa, Florida who would like to come onboard. Offering flexibility, we allow a wide range of shifts and flexible working hours. If you are free over the weekend of November 5 & 6 and would like to volunteer for longer durations, or for the entirety of the festival, please do mention this on your application form.
Registration (12 people needed/3-hour shifts starting at 8:30AM)

Information Desk (12 people needed/3-hour shifts starting at 8:30AM)
Volunteers working at the Information Desk will be required to have knowledge about the festival programme, venues, artistes, etc. They need to be approachable, helpful and assist attendees, artistes and performers with their queries. The location of this department can be clubbed with the registration counters.
Food and Beverage Management (8 People needed/3-hour shifts starting at 8:30AM)
Volunteers in the department will need to ensure all lounges and green rooms are stocked with refreshments, venues are provided with adequate bottles of water and meals are laid out on time. This is an ideal role for hotel management and hospitality students.
As part of your work as a volunteer, the festival will offer you the following:
- A festival t-shirt / jacket (to be worn during the festival)
- A festival badge acknowledging you as a Volunteer
- A Certificate of Appreciation at the end of the festival
- Meals and refreshments as per your shift timings
